They provide essential minerals such as potassium, which helps maintain healthy blood pressure, and magnesium, which is vital for muscle and nerve function. Mangoes are a good source of dietary fibre, which aids digestion and promotes regular bowel movements. They add a natural sweetness and rich flavour to smoothies, juices, and shakes. If you want to try it the local way, look for sour mango with salt and chilli at the street vendors, or pick up some mini mangoes for the kids at the local market. During high season you will find the different local breeds wherever you go on the island!
